Last week marked the final stop of the Q World Tour 2026 – thank you to everyone who attended and helped with its preparation!
We hosted with our partners KX a total of eight free workshops across North America (New York, Toronto), Europe (London) and Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney (thank-you ExeQution Analytics!)).
These workshops were designed to give a taste of q to newcomers and welcome them in the community. And the numbers prove that the interest in q and kdb is strong:
- 6 Global Financial Cities Covered
- 150+ participants attended the workshops globally
- 28 distinct organisations represented
- The demand was so strong in New York and London that we had to schedule two additional sessions
This tour also reflected to the attendees the depth and global reach of our engineering teams. Data Intellect has built strong, highly technical teams across these locations and more. Every session on the tour was delivered locally by DI engineers already working with q/kdb+ in those regions.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and gave us food for thought for another round later this year – stay tuned!
