Exam weather
… Hello? Anyone here? It’s been quiet this month on the activities front. I think everyone’s away on holiday, although, with the heat here in the UK I think some are trying to escape the sunny weather instead of seeking it out! Check in here today for what we got up to this month as well as some of our regular monthly events.

The Hills are Alive with the sound of Golfing
A couple of our number made it out to the fairways for the annual DI Golf Day before the weather picked up too much! It’s one thing walking about under the clouds but when the sun beams down it can be like walking the Sahara when stuck in the sand dips…
They ventured out to Castlerock at the end of May kitted out fully! And while perhaps quite a few more lost balls than expected, a good day was had.

Pizza and... Pizza?
Once again we reach back into the breach to play board/card games together, we’re not picky! We had a throwback of a game being BlockBuster where our memories were put to the test trying to mime out different movies, some easier than others.
Another game which was building up a pizza slice using our quick wit in matching first letters to words while eating an actual pizza! How meta can we make this next time?

Free Friday Drinks and Cards
We’re here, and we’re here to drink beer! Another Free Friday Drinks descended upon us once again and we are happy for it.
The card games hype has spread beyond the confines of our monthly board game night in the office. Although starting off small, there were large amounts of fun to be had!
A new requirement may be needed for FFD, glasses to be able to discern the heart from the diamond, or maybe a microscope…
Quarterly Challenge: Laser Tag
… And another quarterly challenge comes to a close with Hong Kong taking the lead! Those deadly laser guns will be put down until another time. Check in next time for the results of the laser tag battles, with the new quarterly challenge being announced soon!
