Emma Goodwin

Wake me up when September ends...

And here we are, wide awake and ready for Hallowe’en brewing around the corner! Has everyone gott their costume ready?

The Quarterly teams Challenge is wrapped up with a new one on its way, but not only golf was had this month, we were quite active across our activities!

Five aside

The 5-aside crew made it out of the group chat for a kick about and we love to see it! The only time I’ve played 5-aside was unwillingly and I’m pretty sure I tripped over the ball.

I’m sure that this crew managed to keep their feet on the ground and the ball until it was in the back of the net! The next big event is the annual Festive Football 5-aside before the Christmas party in Belfast! Join the 5-aside teams channel to find out the details and to sign up!

Mini-Golf

Another quarter finished, another Quarterly Teams Challenge complete! Despite a couple of last minute teams fighting for first place on the leader board, the Monday Society held their place with a tight grip! Congrats!

The next Quarterly challenge will be the last one for the year, and we return with the Pub Quiz! Get your quizzing teams back together and take on the world!

Climbing and Falling

A lot of the time we just show our after climb selfies but I swear, we do actually climb! And this time we have some action shots to show you, not just our pretty faces.

But of course we also have the after climb selfies, they are mandatory because I said so. Check out the teams channel for more info on when we climb.

Charity Poker Night!

Our annual Poker night returned with a good turn out! With at least a five pound buy in, all the proceeds went towards charity!

The event took place on Lymphoma Awareness day so the £135 pounds raised went towards the charity Lymphoma Action.

Also congrats to Lewis for winning! You may not have won the pot but the glory will follow you! (At least until next year…)

Board Games

Games night was as always a blast with a good turnout! As the weather gets worse, the environment for a good board game gets better.

All we need now is Cluedo and some candlelight, although that might be too ironically tempting…

London social

Now I see some nice tables there, big tables that could host a board game… or maybe some cards? Listen, I bring a pack of cards around with me everywhere so I see a table and I’m ready for a invigorating game of snap!

But away from my board/card game addled mind, the crew in London had another dinner and drinks social! Although we don’t get to see the bountiful food choices here I am sure they were delicious.

See you next month!
