New year, new blog manager, this is Emma checking in for duty for the first blog post for 2026! We welcome everyone back with a strong start to the new year with a couple of different social events that took place over the month. So without further ado…

New Arrivals!

We welcomed 11 new starts to the team this month in what I believe to be our largest new start cohort ever!

Eleven new people to join us in our social events whether that be here in Belfast or beyond…

Bouldering in Belfast

When work is driving us up the wall we’re able to climb even higher, our bouldering group may be small but we are mighty! Please feel free to join us after work and keep an eye out on the bouldering social channel to find out when we head out to climb. All levels of experience are welcome!

Free Friday Drinks and Quiz

Not only did we have our monthly Free Friday Drinks, but our very own Quizmaster, Jude, provided us with Data Intellect’s Big Fat Quiz of the year!

We took over the upstairs room in our usual haunt, The Sunflower, and battled it out with our wits to see which team could be crowned the winner and objectively the most knowledgeable people of the last year. (Because that’s totally how that works.)

Everyone had a great night and congrats to the Winners!

London Dinner and Drinks

The socials are not just limited to Belfast as we saw the London crew head out for a couple of drinks this month too! Great to see everyone getting together in the new year, we look forward to seeing what else will be happening next month.

Lunchtime Crafting

As part of our January wellness initiative we had some crafting sessions during lunch. People came to the social area to channel their creative selves with meditative colouring and planning their vision boards for the upcoming year. There’s nothing like tearing apart magazines for inspirations for new holiday destinations and new food to perk up your mood!

Board Games night

Board games night was another success where we almost had TOO many people! This is a lie, we have enough games for an army and the more the merrier.

A couple of new faces, a couple of new games, and of course, a couple of pizza slices to keep us going.
