Mission Christmas
If you have been following along with the social blogs the past few months, you will know that Data Intellect has been supporting Mission Christmas this year! Alongside the food drive and the Santa Abseil, many members of the team have also donated to the toy drive, ensuring that no child will end up going without this Christmas!
Everybody has been incredibly generous these past few months, and we would like to thank them all for making this time of year special for everyone!

Quarterly Teams Challenge
The last month of each quarter usually yields a large number of entries to the Quarterly Teams Challenge, but this month seems to be an exception! Everyone must have been on the ball this quarter, getting their scores in early, as we only have one entry to the leaderboard from December!
The Budget Bowlers went out this month and caused quite a shakeup, managing to dislodge 10 Pierpont Bowling for third place on the leaderboard! As it stands, NY Lane 1 stand poised to take the prize, but its not over yet! The competition isn't over until the 31st, so take your team out! A Christmas miracle is always possible!

Christmas in Singapore
It's here! The month you've been waiting all year for! It's finally time for the Christmas festivities to begin!
Since they live 8 hours in the future in Singapore, it only makes sense for the team there to kick things off, having their Christmas dinner at the start of the month! The team were very sharply dressed, highlighting the fancy festive theme at Data Intellect this year!
This was the last big event in Singapore for the year, make sure to follow along with future blogs to hear about all the upcoming events in 2025!

Christmas in London
Our next stop on our trip around the globe is the city of London, the home of Charles Dickens himself and all the muppets from A Christmas Carol! The team in London is the biggest outside of Belfast, and have many social events throughout the year, capped off with a trip out for Christmas dinner and drinks.

Christmas in Hong Kong
(can sense a theme emerging here) Like Santa in every Christmas movie, rather than move to the next city over, we have decided to travel half way across the world, back to South-East Asia to catch up with the team in Hong Kong!
The team in Hong Kong holds many events throughout the year, and Christmas is no exception, with the team heading out together for Christmas dinner and drinks!

Christmas in New York
When you get to New York, there are some things you should know. First off, you see gum on the street, leave it there. It's not free candy. Second, there are, like, 30 Ray's Pizzas. They all claim to be the original, but the real one is on 11th. And finally, you can catch the Data Intellect team out for Christmas!
In possibly the most festive city of them all, the team went out to celebrate with Christmas dinner and drinks to finish off a busy year of social events in the big apple!

FFFD
(the extra F stands for festive) Last week saw the final Free Friday Drinks of the year, and there was a huge turnout! Bolstered by many of the members of the Singapore team returning for the holidays, the Sunflower was full of familiar faces!
As with every month, there was free pizza and free drinks, with a unique range of hot drinks as well to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!

Belfast Christmas Party
All 12 months have been leading up to this, the final big social event of the year, the Belfast Christmas Party!
This year, the party was held in the Ulster Museum, an absolutely incredible venue, with plenty of Christmas decorations to fit the Christmas spirit! To coincide with the venue, a masquerade theme was chosen this year, with everyone arriving very well dressed to match!
The red carpet was rolled out (literally) and everyone was able to get their photos taken with their masks. This was followed up by a drinks reception and a 3-course meal, with plenty of prizes to be won with games at each table!
Following an excellent Christmas dinner there was plenty of entertainment throughout the night. Casino tables were brought in, with prizes to be won for whoever was calculated and daring enough to take them! After hours of games and entertainment, Jack and David were able to walk away with the prizes!
There was also a DJ, with the return of the saxophone player from last year, which was a huge hit! Plenty of songs were played to get everyone onto the dancefloor, with A Fairytale of New York ringing out the end of the night!

Another Trip Around the Sun
It's been a busy 12 months at Data Intellect, with dozens of social events being held throughout that time. As the year draws to an end, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to organise, attend or take part, be it social occasions, charity initiatives, or wellness events! The hard-work and enthusiasm that go into these events are truly what makes them as great as they are, and the positive response to all of them is greatly appreciated!
