A hands on workshop for anyone
Are you new to Q and KX technology and want to understand the analytical capabilities of the q language?
In conjunction with KX we are running a series of free workshops across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. We are currently scheduled for NYC, Toronto, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, with more to come.
These workshops are based on DI’s own refined training content — focused, practical, and built from years of real-world engineering experience. You’ll get:
- A clear, friendly introduction to how q actually works
- Hands-on exercises using realistic time-series data
- Real analytics examples: order-book exploration, moving-average logic, PnL patterns, and more
- A feel for why q is expressive, fast, and surprisingly learnable
- Guidance on how to keep learning after the session
It’s not a full training course — it’s a taster, designed to show newcomers that q isn’t nearly as intimidating as it looks, and that it enables things ordinary languages make painfully difficult.
