Experience and skills required:

· Proven track record in winning new clients and new business accounts

· Knowledge of the Services industry, particularly Financial Services is a big plus

· A curiosity for Software Development or tech stacks such as q/kdb+, Java, Javascript, UI technologies or Databricks

· Demonstrated history of consistently achieving targets and a strong focus on delivering measurable results

· Strong skills in negotiation, prioritization and relationship management

· Leadership experience or the ambition to grow into a leadership role

· A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

· Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team

· Flexibility to travel and adapt working hours as needed

Responsibilities

We need a forward-thinking Business Development Executive with a passion for growth—both personal and professional. This role is for someone who sees challenges as opportunities, thrives on continuous learning, and is committed to driving business expansion.

As a member of the team, you will be required to:

· Build and nurture long-term client relationships with specific focus in APAC – seeking growth opportunities and expanding partnerships

· Drive sales and market expansion within APAC – identifying new opportunities with both new and existing clients

· Advise and innovate – gathering client insights to influence technical and service developments

· Embrace a growth mindset – continuously developing your skills, refining strategies, and learning from every experience

 

Day-to-day duties typically include:

· Engaging with clients to understand their evolving needs and closing high-value deals

· Attending client meetings, conducting regular relationship reviews, and identifying expansion opportunities

· Providing strategic feedback on market trends, client goals, and potential new ventures

· Researching organizations and industries to uncover emerging opportunities

· Managing onboarding documentation and ensuring seamless client experiences

· Representing Data Intellect at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
