Requirements.
- Expert level Java developer with 5+ years’ experience developing real-time, low latency trading applications with a high throughput
- Deep understanding of concurrent, multi-threaded application environments
- Expertise in Object Oriented design, Data Structures, Low Latency Design Patterns, Unit & Integration testing
- Strong knowledge of automated testing techniques
Responsibilities.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high performance software solutions primarily for low latency trading systems. Working within the back-end development team, you will gain exposure to the full software stack. You will use modern development tools and concepts to deliver high quality, best practice software solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Design, build and enhance high performance Java solutions for our clients
- Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions
- Perform architectural reviews of Java Systems
- Suggest and implement new ideas and innovations
- Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications
- Recommend, implement and knowledge share on improvements to client systems
- Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks
- Be exposed to a range of technologies and be capable of selecting the most appropriate solution to a given client problem
- Work as part of a dynamic team
