Requirements.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a QA role
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data across backend (e.g. Python, Java, kdb+, Postgres) and frontend (e.g. React) systems.
- Strong programming skills for automation of manual test plans.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile and appropriate tooling
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA team members to define and execute test plans and strategies.
- Use of Gherkin/Cucumber for testing in a Behaviour Driven Development environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with development team to find and fix bugs.
- Ability to analyse, document, and track bugs.
- Basic SQL skills for data investigation
Desirable requirements (highly advantageous but not essential):
- Basic kdb+ knowledge/willingness to learn kdb+
- Use of AWS infrastructure and UNIX/Linux skills
- Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking
Responsibilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and enhance bespoke automated QA solutions for our clients
- Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions
- Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks
- Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies
- Recommend, implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations
- Work as part of a dynamic team liaising directly with clients
- Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications
